My 2.2 cents

Finals are coming up next week and I dont really want to take them, I am not a good test taker. But I guess I have to just study real hard and be focused and I should be fine, and get good grades on all my tests. i cant wait until Christmas break i need a break from school. When we get back to school I will try to be more organized and get better grades. I dont really have anything else to talk about I cant think of anything. So I will just Say goodbye now. Hopefully this is one hundred and fifty words. I doubt it though.

my 2.1 cents

Well what will i talk about on my free choice blog? I guess i will talk about what im going to do over christmas break. I think im going to hangout with my friends relax and have christmas, after christmas i might go to florida and spend sometime down there with my family. That will be fun i can relax and get tan. School has been good so far, it goes by really fast which is really good the homework is fairly easy and all my teathers are cool. But icant wait til school is out for the summer i get my lisence and im going to be going a lot of places. Summer is going to be fun i just hope it gets here fast. I am glad we got to do are own blog it was fun i liked it. Thats all i have to say i guess. Bye

Project expierence

I had a fun time with this project. Working with Aaron is a good time even though we laugh a little to much well a lot we usually get the job done on time. We had some problems with the computer so we had to present our newscast a little late, but that was ok. I hope we get to do that again that was the best project i have done so far. Aaron is my partner for that one too.

Physical development

This year to work on my physical development i am going to go to school looking nice and clean. And eat heathy foods at school or at least try to find healty foods at school. And i play sports to stay in shape so i dont become over weight so i can stay heathy and strong. So this year that is what i will try to do for my physical development.

Thanksgiving

I cant wait for thangsgiving my whole family gets together and we eat tons and tons of food. We have a good time when we get together for thangsgiving.We talk and laugh and sometimes al the cousins will play footbal in the backyard so its a fun day for the whole family. I am thankful for my family and friends and God.

Intellectual Development

To nurture my intellectual development i am going to work harder. Study more in my classes and at home, Do all of my homework and do the best i can on my school work. Ask more questions to the teachers so i can learn better and become more intelligent. Overall i am just going to become a better student and work hard on everything i do. Hopefully that works out good for me.

invention

If i could invent someting i would invent a flying car. I would make this because it would be better for the enviroment, no more traffic jams, so you wont be sitting in traffic for hours. It would have good gas mileage, and they would look really cool. Yes i would sell my flying car because first of all i would make a lot of money selling the cars. I also think it would look really cool seeing cars fly around. That would be my invention.

spiritual development

This year im going to start working harder on school work,even though im kind of slacking on that right now, i hope to get better at it. Im going to start to relax more on tests and take my time and not rush things and do the best i can at everything i do. I also plan on being i better person and being more respectful to people around me. Hopefully i will be a better person in everything by the end of this school year.

Food

Food is very important to me i love food! The best food i like to eat is most likely grilled cheese or macaroni and cheese. The least favorite thing i like to eat is canalope its gross i hate the taste and smell i just dont like it that much. The strangest food i have ever tried is probably calamari but its pretty good i like it its just what it is, is weird.

valuable lesson

A event in my life that taught me a vauable lesson was in soccer season freshman year and this year. Coach told us that we represent Notre Dame High School, and Notre Dame soccer and he wants us to act like gentleman outside of school. And he also told us that we are a team and if someone messes up we are all punished for it, so i think that means he wants us to trust one another and help each other out.

project reflections

My favorite project we have done this year so far would have to be the on we are doing now, and thats garage band. I think its fun and interesting, and i love how we can record our voices and make them deeper and strange. Alos i like how we can put cool noises and beats, and mixing them together i really injoy it. But i think the garage band project would be better with a partner. We can come up with a lot more ideas and make it even better.

report card

I think most of my grades are pretty good, there are some i could push up a little more and put more effort in that class. But mostly i think my grades are good. I do not check my grades daily, but i do every now and then, so my grades might be a suprise to me, but i think i did a good job this quarter. So now i just have to worry about my next quarters grades.

website

The website i visit the most is most likely Google, because it gets me to other websites fast, and its simple. Google helps me with homework all the time. If i didnt have it i would be lost and probably getting bad grades.If i lived in the past when the internet was not avalible or there was no such things as computers, i would have to go to the local library and look it up in a book or encyclopedia. So i am very happy that we have the internet it is helpful in my everyday life.

student employment

I have never had a real job, but i had a summer job at my friends house fixing her moms greenhouse and watering plants and etc. I got paid weekley so it was a good expierence. I learned that you have to work hard yourself and with others. Students should look for a job at this age but its not required, if your not ready then find a job next year. But the job i had over the summer could possibly help me in the future but im not sure yet.

scary movie

One of the scariest movies i have ever seen is, The Exocrcist. Its one of my favorites because,it can happen to you in real life and it also is gory with blood and vomit. I saw this with a group of friends and all of us couldt fall asleep. There is something about the movie that gets inside you and you cant forget about it for days. I think its one of the scariest movies of all time and people should see it for themselves.

vice presidential debate

I didnt watch the vice presidential debate because im not that in to any of that stuff. Personally i think its boring, but i heard they were both pretty good, and had very nice speeches. Everybody keeps talking about Sarah Palin so im guessing she is doing a pretty good job. I want Obama to be president so i like Biden. But i think they both made there points so whoever wins its fine with me.

Future career

When i grow up i dont know what my future career will be. Hopefully i will have a job involving sports or anything in that field. If that doesnt happen then i am not quite sure what i want to be. Maybe a Policeman or maybe even a Firefighter or possibly an Astronaut. But i highley doubt i will be any of those things. I will probabley grow up and have a normal job like most people

service project

I am currently not working on a service project. But over the summer i worked at Glen Oak in a summer camp for 4-5 year olds. It was a fun expierence i had a lot of fun working with them, and i learned a lot from it. I made a lot of freinds even though they are 10 years younger than me. Those kids were very fun and bright. I am planning on going back to the summer camp next year, because i miss it and it was very fun.

PC vs Mac

personally i like the Mac better than the PC. Maybe thats just because im used to working on the mac and im used to getting around it. Pc is a little bit more complicated but there are more stuff on there to use that may be more organized and the graphics on a PC are way better than a Mac. So if i had to choose one it would be a Mac. But im glad we got Pc in our school i think they are better for group projects.

Project Progress 9-30-08

I am currently working on the newsletter with my partners Maxi and Aaron. This project was diffrent and i had fun working on it. We wrote about the homecoming game,dance so overall mostly just homecoming week. I learned how to make a newslleter what do say and not to say in an article. i learned how to arrange pictures and etc on a newsletter. So if i ever have to make a newsletter for anyone in the future or for school i will know what to do.

Current event

The Cubs making the playoffs and actually having a chance on winning the world series. This is a positive event because the cubs havent won a world series and if they win this year that would make me the happiest person in the world and i can say that i actually was alive to see the cubs win a world series. But this event hasnt really affected my life. So hopefully the cubs win this year.

Favorite subject

My favorite subject in school this year would have to be either french or Literature . I like French because im learning a new language in a fun way but its also challenging and that makes it even more fun, also some of the words are funny when you say them. Literature is another class i like a lot because reading new stories and reading them together in class can make it easier for me to learn, besides just reading a book by myself and missing stuff i couldnt figure out on my own. But at Notre Dame every class is one of my favorites!

Chosen saint

The saint i choose for my slide show was the Archangel St.Michael. I choose St.Michael because he was my confirmation saint and Michael is my middle name, i also know a lot about St.Michael he has been my favorite saint since i was little. For my project i got my photos off of google image that helped me out quite a bit. And if i had to choose someone who St.Michael reminds me of is my grandpa.

Dream trip

If i could go on a dream trip i would probably go to Hawaii or The Bahamas. I would like to go to one of these places, because it is always warm there an you can go to the beach and chill with your family and friends. Go swimming, learn how to surf and make huge sand castles. I would mostly like to go to Hawaii because i think the weather is better there and its cleaner and the atmosphere is better in Hawaii.

favorite movie

My favorite movie would have to be The Sandlot. Because i like playing baseball with my friends and the movie can relate to that. Also The movie is funny and almost every kid in that movie reminds me of all my friends, so i laugh until i cry almost every time i watch that movie. So if I'm ever bored and have nothing to do i can always put in that movie and be fine with it. So the Sandlot is defiantly my favorite movie of all time.

Homecoming

I am so excited for homecoming, its going to be so much fun. I am most likely going to the game hopefully we actually win a game. Yes i do have a date to the dance and im going, hopefully we have a good time. This week should be a lot of fun, because we have twin day, represent your grade school, class color day and school spirit. This week is going to be a blast and probably something im going to remember for a long time.

Group Work

I feel that group projects are better than individual projects, because in group projects you can put your minds together and make something ten times better. And in individual projects its harder to come up with an idea and you could get stuck on something, but you know in a group project there is someone who can come up with an idea and you can help each other out and have more fun.

Presidential Debate

The presidential debate is nothing i really watch, but i did watch Obamas speech and i think he did a really good job and he might be a good leader for this country. I didnt watch Mcains speech but im sure he did a fine job. If i had to choose between one of them i would choose Obama because he is smart and has a good idea how to make this country. And Mcain is old.

homecoming

Homecoming was a fun time, i had practice that morning then after that i went to the homecoming football game vs central, and we actually won. Then after the football game i went home and got ready for the homecoming dance. Before we went tot the dance we went out to eat at Rizzis which was good. After that my group went to the dance and had a really good time. Also i went to an after party which i had a good time there too.
